Jessica Gordon, Ex Officio

Jessica Gordon joins TJS as the Director of Communications and Development. With more than
a decade of experience in the non-profit sector, Jess has worked with numerous area
organizations, including Delaware Center for the Inland Bays and the Beebe Medical
Foundation. She has written for Delaware Beach Life magazine, Delaware Today, The News
Journal and the Delaware State News. She holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism and a

Initiative, the non-profit which leads the mindfulness program here at TJS.

Over the years since her introduction to our school, Jess has been continually impressed with
the philosophy and culture of TJS and is excited to bring her two daughters, Mia (I-1) and
Mikaela (P-3) with her. In addition to writing and mindfulness, Jess enjoys traveling, yoga and
days at the beach. She lives in Lewes with Mia, Mikaela, husband John, and their dog, bunny,
